Leigh Edwards
Minutes Secretary HSCC since August 2007.
Member since navigating in Targa 2006, started association with the Club in the old timing 'trolley bus' at Baskerville in the late 60s with Life Member Brian Chopping.
I seemed to get on well with numbers and facts so started a career in forest science as a research technician with Forestry Tasmania in 1975. Still there !
I have been passionate about Formula One since the late 70s, when Alan Jones raised my awareness of motorsport. I have represented Tasmania in amateur football and Australia in sailing, before children and a more sedate lifestyle. Still married to Jen and enjoying different hobbies, pastimes and influences, from; Sydney-Hobart yacht racing; outback car rallies; local, national and international travel; gardening, red wine and Grand Prix; and currently Minutes secretary and assistant starter at our Baskerville.

Peter Killick
Peter has worked all his working life with State-wide Building Company Fairbrother Pty Ltd, working his way through from an apprentice carpenter to his current role as General Manager Fairbrother Construction and Joinery (Tas).
Peter commenced his motorsport endeavours in the late 80's with a few years in Karting circuits around Tasmania. After a small break from Motorsport to build the first marital home, a Leyland Mini club car was constructed and run at local hill climbs and circuits around Tasmania. A move to the South of the State provided an opportunity to purchase a Group N Cooper S Mini, which also saw duty at club level, before a period of a number of years in Historic Touring cars with Group N. A desire to see a new one make series for Mini's get off the ground, saw a new Mini 11 sedan constructed and run for 2 seasons before the late 1990's when the decision was made to hang up the helmet and the Mini's were sold off. A few runs as observer in ski boat racing did little to drain the motorsport from the veins, and an opportune conversation at a local news agency led to Targa Tas No. 1 as a Navigator in 99 in a 240Z Datsun. 3 Targa's in that car realised a Gold Trophy and the navigator's helmet was hung up again. 2 years in the wilderness later a 1990 GT4 Celica Turbo was purchased and run in Targa 2005. That car was sold off to make way for another house, during which the Navigator's helmet came out again and another 2 Targa's were completed in a 77 Ford Falcon Cobra. Seeking out another new challenge, it was decided that the Navigators helmet would be retired for good, and the decision was made to build a 1965 MK1 Cortina from the ground up for Targa n.o 7, in 2009.

Donald Potter
What can I say, a late comer when it comes to motorsport, always loved motorsport but just didn't have the time as I spent most of my sporting achievements yachting here in Hobart where I was fortunate to compete in Sydney to Hobart's & Sydney to Noumea's etc before competing in the 04' Targa Tasmania where I was introduced or seduced into the HSCC Committee to do what some said was a small organising role?????
I just may just have to get a race car to get out of the office, so watch this space!
