The Hobart Sporting Car Club is one of Tasmania’s oldest-established motorsports clubs. Originally involved in various motorsport disciplines in its earliest days; today the HSCC is primarily involved in promoting events at Baskerville Raceway near Hobart.
We organise three of the six rounds of the Tasmanian Circuit Racing Championship as well as the popular and award-winning Baskerville 1000 6-hour endurance event for teams, and the annual Time Attack event.
Hobart Sporting Car Club members can enjoy club membership in various ways – as competitor, official or spectator. They are also eligible to compete in most events run by other car clubs, such as motorkanas and khanacross – ideal for young people who can compete from age 14 years.
This website is currently undergoing a gradual upgrade. We hope you’ve noticed a number of changes we’ve made to improve information, especially about our signature events and our new membership portal.
We’ve got more improvements planned including a comprehensive historical image gallery and a new facility for completing event entry forms online.
Members can also access the latest HSCC event information via our Facebook page or via The Sporting Motorist newsletter.
